Oakdale Group commenced its operations in 1990 at Bennett’s Green Newcastle. Since then the business has grown substantially and relocated to a larger premise at Beresfield Industrial Park in New South Wales.
Specialising in large-scale formwork and civil construction contracting services across Australia, New Zealand, USA and Asia, our company is preferred by countless commercial and residential builders for our safety record and method of construction creating onsite efficiencies.
We build shopping centres, residential towers, hospitals, parking complexes and commercial buildings. In addition to staff resourcing and management, we supply formwork equipment including our modular tableform system “Contec Table Forms” in addition to other formwork systems including Peri, Doka and Contec wall and column forms.
RESOURCING & SITE MANAGEMENT
Oakdale Group employ on average 180-400 people depending on workload across its interstate operations including for site trades, service personnel for project transport and logistics support, project management and business administration.
We manage and oversee an experienced team of onsite personnel to deliver the project on time and to plan. Having delivered countless commercial and residential formwork projects, our personnel are highly skilled.
PLANNING, COORDINATION, SAFETY & PROGRAMME
Working closely alongside the builder, our management team assists with every stage of coordination, safety and programme. We assist right from the planning stage by providing sequencing of materials, buildability and methodology.
A pivotal component of planning is advising on safe systems of work for our personnel through continual development of the SOP’s by consultation with our personnel. This ensures a superior standard of workmanship and safety of construction.
Oakdale Group delivers on programme through planning the job from its conception through to sign off. This involves a high level of communication, coordination and planning with the team including the client, architects, site workers and engineers.
